Sydney Dance Company successfully performs in contemporary dance styles every year since 1976. They are based in Sydney, NSW Australia. There are fourteen dancers most of which are strong classically trained dancers, from all over the world. The dancers inspire Rafael Bonachela to create a new and entertaining era of contemporary dance.

Bangarra Dance Company is culturally an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Company. The spirit and energy of Indigenous culture are formed into movements by the fourteen amazing dancers in the company. When Stephen Page was assigned Artistic Director in 1991, his creations were extraordinarily inspirational to Australia and worldwide audiences.
